Guess it's been a couple years since I created this blog ... not very exciting. Perhaps I will make an effort to post an entry every once in a while.

Random Update

Well, frankly I forgot about this poor old lonesome Blog. And if I forgot, apparently so did everyone else. I did take a few minutes to delete the Blog Spam in the comments. When I did so, I was reminded to study on-line to get my degree, buy some penny stocks, visit another blog, and purchase some prescriptions at discount prices.

My cousin is working on a cruise ship somewhere in the Pacific and has created her own Blog to keep in touch ... it's actually interesting and much funnier than mine. Here's a link to Adventures in Laura Land ... check it out. Be sure to ask for the sale price on the crystal dolphins at the gift shop ... you can't have enough of those!

Fun with Images

Lindsey: Welcome and thanks for joining!

You can't use images in comments, only in new or edited posts. Try creating a new post and see if you can figure out some of the fun stuff!

Here's how I do it ...I use step #4 because I already have webpages in several different places. I upload the new image to BaerCom.com or ShinerTX.com or other place, then link to them. But then, I'm a webmaster and have been doing this for several years.

I will try to figure out an easy way for everyone all of us to upload pictures to a common place for "The Baer Facts". In the meantime, use images that are already on the web or figure out something else that will work for you.

Or ... e-mail me the picture(s) you want to post and I'll put them somewhere on the web and tell you how to make them appear. There ... that's better, isn't it?

Can't sleep ... dumb dog

Early this morning, I was dreaming of an adventure and was awakened by Pepper, our Yorkshire Terrier. I'm a light sleeper, so all it takes is a quiet growl. "Dad, I have to go outside," he's telling me. That's enough to get me awake. Might as well get up now ... ... Now that I'm up, I connect to the web, check my office mail InBox. Delete the spam. Hey, I'll write something on "The Baer Facts" BLOG for you to read later.

Hope all is well with Lindsey as she gets ready for her last final of the semester. She came home this week as a surprise ... was great to see her and get to visit. Her boyfriend, Scott, was busy studying for his finals (REAL ones) and was in no mood to play. Baylor is suiting Lindsey well and Elementary Education is a great match for her interests and abilities ... she's really developed a heart for children, especially the underprivileged. What a blessing she will be (is) to them. Keep up the good work, Li!
